According to writer Frank Whitford:
"Together the man and the woman form the shape of a penis and I think that is intentional - it's about sex and about the fulfillment of sex between a man and a woman."
Next, French sculptor Auguste Rodin, sculpted The Kiss (Francesca da Rimini) on 1889. The kiss depicts an italian noblewoman in Dante's work title Inferno, And she falls in love with her husband's younger brother Paolo..The couple are discovered and killed later. Another art piece which titled The kiss (1859) was painted by the italian artist Francesco Hayez. He was the leading artist of Romanticism in 19 century.
The Kiss is popular and famous from its exhibition onward. It has been the subject of many commentary. The image of this pair of lovers was use in the packaging design for Baci, one of Italy's leading chocolate manufacturer. The first on-screen smooch happened between John Rice and May Irwin in the movie The Kiss. This less-than-a-minute film was shown during the closing scene of the Broadway play The Widow Jones and caused outrage at the time.
Gustav Klimt , a great artist from Austria, painted a fine piece, named the kiss(der kuss) too. This golden famous work was created on 1907 . It pictures a couple, embraced each other warmly and sharing a kiss in the center of the frame.

This painting is among the most passionate and intense(extreme, great, drastic???)representation of KISS in the history of western art. A passionate kiss with the principle of romanticism, emphasising deep feelings rather than rasional thought.
